From Totally 80’s Tub To Divine Door-less Shower

Stepping Into Luxury
Originally, the bathroom felt like an episode of “Let’s Make a Deal” by having a multitude of doors. An awkward and unnecessary hallway from the bathroom lead to either an extra closet or into the bathroom. A large tub took up most of the space, which was unfortunate because the client never used it. Overall, the space was in sore need of updating. Once he began his remodel, the client had a short wish list: a tranquil, modern, masculine space with a door-less shower. OHi delivered. After removing the unnecessary doors, the bathroom instantly felt more open. The shower was designed to be extra large in order to contain the water, while leaving an opening on the end opposite of the shower head. This also allowed for a dramatic shower niche and comfortable bench. Originally, the designer planned on building a small linen closet near the toilet to offer some privacy, but due to the skylight, she changed the plan to include a generously large vanity with plenty of storage.
His bathroom transformation inspired him to update his kitchen. While he already had durable white cabinets, he simply needed to update his countertop and backsplash. These little changes went a long way, helping to elevate the space and make it brighter than before.
