In the process of updating the tile in their guest bathroom, these Deerfield clients decided to go all in with a full remodel of their master bathroom. Inspired by a photo in a magazine, they wanted a cheerful beach cottage design, with an unexpected but welcomed pop of color in their vanity.
With plumbing fixtures original to the home, our team did a complete overhaul, replacing everything from the shower to the sink faucet. Our clients not only wanted an updated space, but they wanted a more functional space complete with more storage and a taller vanity, as one of our clients was quite tall and the original vanity was lower to the ground, causing them to stoop frequently.
As for the look, our designer helped them recreate the design they fell in love with from a magazine in a way that maintained their budget and their functional needs. From the beadboard detail near the toilet, to the wood-like tile chosen for the flooring, everything tied together to help transport these clients to the beach cottage they always wanted.
