A Space for All Ages

It was time to put the doilies away in favor of a transitional design with splashes of mid-century modern touches. With an active young child and frequent guests, this family desperately needed a spacious open-concept layout with an updated design to reflect their personal taste. Our designer offered a kitchen that overlooked the entire dining room and living room area, by relocating the sink to the kitchen island, instead of facing the wall. This allowed for the parents to keep an eye on their curious kid. The floors were refinished to allow for a seamless space, and extra seating was added to the island to accommodate any visitor.
