From Crowded Shower to Expanded Bliss

With hopes of updating their master bathroom to not only look better, but to include a larger shower, these Arlington Heights homeowners approached OHi to help create their dream space. With a cool gray color pallet, terrific tile, and durable countertops, the new space was everything the clients had ever hoped for.

Spacing Out

While the majority of the bathroom's floor-plan stayed the same, the biggest undertaking was expanding the shower. Originally, it was a cramped, walled in shower that blocked the window. This prevented the natural light from streaming in, making the whole space feel tighter and darker. The new shower included a knee wall and was enclosed by glass. This created an openness, as well as allowed the window light to fill the space.

The new shower is complete with accessories that make it fit for royalty. The shower bench, niche, and handheld shower head, paired with the new heated floors, creates a spa-like atmosphere perfect for unwinding at the end of a long day.
