Tranquil and Traditional Bathroom

While the aging finishes and dated style were starting to show, it was the slowly failing faucets that ultimately pushed this bathroom to the top of the priority list. But rather than opting for a piecemeal fix, the homeowner decided to address everything at once—with both function and longevity in mind. One of the key goals? Raising the vanity height to better accommodate her tall family members, making everyday use more comfortable and ergonomic.

Working closely with OHi designer Tammy Ogaard, the homeowner brought her vision to life with a space that feels both refreshed and familiar. With just a few guiding ideas, Tammy was able to curate finishes and fixtures that elevated the overall design while still echoing the home’s existing character. From the warm wood vanity to the thoughtfully selected tile and perfectly coordinated shower system, each choice reflects a balance of style, practicality, and continuity. The result is a bathroom that not only looks beautiful—but works beautifully, too.
