From Bulky Bathtub to Modern Glam

Storage was a top priority for this Schaumburg couple. Their spa tub was no longer practical for their stage of life, and they were tired of how cramped its large deck made the bathroom feel. However, they still needed a tub for when the grandkids visited. Our team opened the space by adding a standalone tub and expanding the shower to accommodate a bench and grab rails. We added a tall linen cabinet to store the grandkids' bath toys and all their towels. Additionally, we added custom drawers in the vanity with built-in organizers. Our team turned their cluttered and dim space into a clean, spacious bathroom with classic design features and a modern flair.

Marbled Perfection

The glue that holds this bathroom together is the continuous Statuario Marble. The client wanted a sleek look with little to no crevices or grout lines on the tile. She chose the Staturario Marble to make the space brighter without being just white. The grey vein lines add dimension and variety to the room. Our designer went with the 24x48 floor tile, brought it up along the wall behind the toilet, and wrapped it under the window and at the knee wall between the shower and vanity.

To keep the space cohesive, our designer used a custom vent cover that matched the Statuario Marble, turning what could have been an eye soar into a beautiful and elegant piece in the room.
