For these Northbrook homeowners, the retro tile in their children's bathroom was a sign that they desperately needed an upgrade. They partnered with an OHi designer to create a fresh design with plenty of storage. The final product included environmentally conscious choices such as energy-efficient light fixtures and a dual flush toilet, alongside a fun pop of blue.

Finding Your Niche
As a focal point of the room, the shower was designed to include everything from a dual showerhead, a playful accent tile reminiscent of denim, and brushed nickel details to offer a slight hint of glam.
Most importantly, the new shower would include a niche to provide an organized storage solution for the space. Originally the shower niche was supposed to be centered in the shower. However, it was quickly discovered that it needed to be relocated due to the niche in the shower on the other side of the wall. With limited options, our designer opted to include a band of penny rounds that would help visually disguise, allowing it to be off-center without distracting from the integrity of the design.
