Hoping to make their kitchen and dining room more cohesive, this Schaumburg client approached OHi to help her make a few updates. With creative shelving by the range and an improved peninsula, this kitchen finally became the space of this homeowner's dream.
Originally, this homeowner had dreams of an island. Our designer created a layout that included an island, however, both agreed the space would be too tight and clumsy for a kitchen to fit this homeowner's lifestyle. Because of this, our designer prepared a second layout that she felt would meet the functional needs of the client better. It included increased storage and countertop space, as well as an improved peninsula that felt cohesive with the rest of the space. The new addition also created space for an under-counter microwave, as well as an above the range ventilation hood.
