To help achieve the contemporary look, our team helped select a floating vanity to create a strong, clean line, while the dark color adds the perfect balance of contrast to the otherwise softer tones. To maintain a decent level of storage, our team ensured the vanity had a drawer to fit underneath the sink. The square sink reinforces the distinct lines found throughout the room, while also adding a level of cohesion.
A unique feature to notice is how the entire bathroom is covered in tile, with the exception of the ceiling. This is a very clean, and smooth look inspired by many living spaces in Europe. To help add a little texture to the room, the client selected a dimensional tile to contrast the smooth, subtle marble-like tile for the other walls.
The love of tile continued into her living room, where she had the OHi team redo her fireplace with a unique textured tile, that fits together to create an unexpected, but delightful, pattern. The finished product is a bold and playful fireplace that is a true statement piece.
