With dreams of ample storage, an island, and durable materials to stand the test of young children, OHi delivered that and more after tearing down a wall, sprinkling in fun splashes of tile, and creating a layout perfect for this family's lifestyle.

Goodbye Pesky Peninsula , Hello Island Dreams

The original kitchen was confined to a cramped square space, cut down even shorter by a peninsula. After our team removed the wall between the kitchen and original dining room, the space gained enough square footage to accommodate for an island.

This island, along with the playful hexagon tile and accent painted tiles, became the focal point of the space. It included enough seating for the children to sit while the parents work in the kitchen, along with ample storage, and an under countertop microwave.
