For this busy, on-the-go family, the home needed to do more than look beautiful; it needed to keep up. OHi reimagined the entire first floor, refreshed an upstairs bathroom, and transformed a Juliet balcony, creating a home that supports both packed schedules and meaningful time together. The updated layout balances openness with intention, allowing spaces to feel connected without becoming overwhelming. Designed with flexibility in mind, every area works a little harder, making room for everything from quick weekday routines to relaxed evenings at home.

Boldly Personal

This home proves that functionality and personality don’t have to compete; they can elevate each other.

Designed around a family with full schedules and creative hobbies, each space was built to serve a purpose. The family room offers multiple seating areas for everything from quiet nights to hosting friends, complete with a wet bar that makes entertaining effortless. The kitchen, equally hardworking, features a paneled double-door refrigerator, deep-drawer pull-outs, a functional island with seating for homework or casual meals, and even a dedicated nook for cookbooks, transforming it into a true hub for cooking and gathering.

Beyond the main living spaces, thoughtful details continue throughout. A laundry room with personal cubbies and pull-out drying racks keeps daily life organized, while a refreshed home office supports focused work-from-home days. The Juliet balcony was reimagined as a cozy library nook, and custom shelving around the fireplace creates the perfect place to display the family’s ever-growing LEGO creations.

And then, the standout moment: purple cabinetry. A bold reflection of the homeowner’s personal style, it’s a reminder that great design doesn’t have to play it safe.
