This Chicago Client felt it was time to add more personality to her bathroom. She approached OHi wanting to modernize and increase the functionality of her space. Our team removed her tub and replaced it with a make-up station so she could get ready every day. We also updated the vanity, flooring, and walk-in shower. Our team created an industrial glam space for the client.
This client no longer used the tub and was tired of it taking up so much space in the room. Along with our designer, she decided that space would be better used as a make-up station. She wanted a spot to store all of her beauty products and sit down to get ready every day. Our designer removed the tub and tub deck and put in another cabinet unit with lots of drawers and quartz countertops to make it easy for the client to keep that space clean and organized.
Before: This was a dull, beige room with light from one small window above the tub. It had tan ceramic tile floors and an oak wood vanity with a black granite countertop. There was a boxed-in walk-in shower with a wall between it and the tub that was built into a tub deck.
After: The room is bold and bright. The floor has been replaced with a rustic grey LVT. The tub and tub deck have been removed, and there is now a vanity makeup station with black cabinets and a quartz countertop. The walk-in shower now has a glass door with a feature tile backsplash. The vanity is black Sorrento cabinets with quartz countertops and a matte black faucet. There are two LED circle mirrors above the sinks, and vanity lighting is provided above each station.
