We are thrilled to announce that this year, Chrysalis named OHi the Regional Winner in the Residential Interior category in its annual Award for Remodeling Excellence competition. When OHi President John Kautz heard OHi had won this prestigious award, he stated, "I'm incredibly honored that our team received this award and proud to have our designer, project manager, and construction team's work and dedication to their craft recognized."
Continuing to set new standards of professionalism, 72 companies from across the United States were named winners at the 2024 Chrysalis Awards for Remodeling Excellence. The entries were judged on the overall design, the creative use of space and materials, and the degree to which the project enhanced the original structure.
Our approach to the winning project was not just about modernizing the space but about creating an atmosphere that felt artful and uniquely stylized. We removed the wall between the kitchen and dining room, created a masculine lounge, and transformed the singular first-floor bathroom into two: one for guests and a private ADA bathroom for the client's bedridden wife. Through gold accents, rich color schemes, and detailed tile, our team created a contemporary and artful space that maintained the integrity of the home and the client's taste. We remodeled the kitchen, dining room, den, office, living room, and first-floor bathrooms, showcasing our unique and creative approach to remodeling.

The Chrysalis Awards program, begun in 1994, recognizes the nation's best work in fourteen general residential and commercial remodeling categories. The Chrysalis Awards are open to every professional remodeler and design professional in the United States.
