From Cramped U-Shape Space to Traditional Dream

Every time these homeowners opened their fridge, they couldn’t escape their U-shaped kitchen, as the door would block their pathway. Eventually, they knew it was time to make a change. They approached the OHi team with the challenge of increasing functionality and adding an island while maintaining the original footprint of the kitchen. With a strategic adjustment, precarious organizational planning from our designer, and much innovation, our team was able to construct these Arlington Heights clients’ dream kitchen that not only improved storage, but allowed them to still leave the room if the fridge was open.
