After relocating the closet door entrance to the bedroom and replacing the hinged doors with matching pocket doors, one for the bathroom and one for the closet, our team continued rearranging the layout inside the bathroom. The vanity was moved, and built to include a tower for storage. A walk-in shower was installed where the old vanity was located. The new shower includes every special feature imaginable, including a steam shower, and rain shower head. The old location for the tub-shower combination was replaced with linen storage cabinets.
Beyond rearranging and expanding the different components of the bathroom, the clients also filled their space with luxurious, rich products that enhanced the overall aesthetic.
Before: A shower-tub combination was sequestered with the toilet, while a cramped vanity sat outside the door in an underutilized hallway. The materials were dated. The bathroom had tile flooring, while the vanity hallway had worn carpet.
After: The shower-tub combination is replaced by a wall of linen cabinets, increasing the storage significantly. A walk-in shower now stands where the old vanity was located, including a bench and gorgeous niche. The floor is a classic marble-like tile that is shared with the shower walls to give the room a cohesive feel. A new double sink vanity with tower storage stands in the previously underutilized hallway.
