STEP ONE

Take Measurements

After you call and schedule an appointment with us, the OHi team will visit your home to take precise measurements, ask you questions about your vision, and share a few ideas.  We will provide a ballpark estimate based on your space.

To move forward and receive a 3D drawing and a scope estimate, we will ask for a $1000 design deposit that will eventually go towards your total investment. Click here to read more about why we ask for a deposit. 

STEP TWO

Perfect Your Design

Once we learn about your goals and vision and receive the deposit, we will create a new design for your space and present you with a beautiful 3D rendering so you can envision it.

Along with the design, you'll receive a scope budget estimate, as well as a projected timeline, before moving forward into a formal design relationship.

STEP THREE

Choose Your Details

You want your home to be under construction for as little time as possible. That’s why we help you make design selections, finalize your drawings, and order materials before any construction begins. Based on your design and budget, you and your team will select each detail.

In our showroom, you can choose from the best remodeling products, all in one place. Compare flooring, cabinetry, countertops, backsplash tiles, hardware, fixtures, lighting, and more. Your dedicated team will work with you to ensure you’ll love your selections for years to come.

STEP FOUR

Prepare for Construction

Your project manager and crew will apply for any permits you need and file them with your place of residence. This is when you’ll meet your project manager, the person who will keep your project on time and on budget. You’ll do a final walk-through of your space and customize any portion of the workflow process to meet your needs.

With your materials on order or in-hand and permits received, your team will start demolition. Our project managers, who ensure on-site safety, cleanliness, and craftsmanship, take a proactive approach to communication. You’ll always know what’s happening with your project.

STEP FIVE

Watch Your Design Come to Life

Our craftsmen have more than 100 years of combined experience and are responsible for making your vision a reality. We treat your home like we would our own, being respectful of your time and space by cleaning up each day before we leave.

Our professional craftsmen are part of the OHi family, so we know and trust the crew working in your home each day. Depending on the size and complexity of your project, you may spend several weeks with our team in your home, so we hope they’ll quickly feel like family to you, too.

STEP SIX

Review Your Team’s Work

When construction of your project is complete, the work isn’t quite over. Your team will review every inch of your space with you, making sure you’re thrilled with every detail and the overall outcome. That’s how we ensure you become a client for life. Our clients not only come back for additional projects (and request team members by name), but we also work with clients whose parents and grandparents worked with us!
